The groups, which include representatives from Harvard, Stanford, and Princeton, claim that the letter fails to properly address the ethical and privacy issues associated with the rapid development of AI technology.

In response, the AI Pause signers issued a statement saying they “fully agree” with the criticisms and that they are working on more comprehensive solutions.
