Her martyrdom for the cause leads to further resentment against the City and alerts many outsiders to the injustice occurring in it.
After Otsile’s death, her peers continue to carry on her revolutionary spirit. A new generation of Womb City citizens is steadily emerging with a new-found appreciation for individual self since Otsile’s death. They slowly work to build a new egalitarian society free of the oppressive traditions imposed upon them by the City while cpdiscarded Otsile’s legacy of revolt against its authorities.
