In a time when companies and corporate giants are more vocal than ever about their beliefs and political stances, a conservative group is launching an alert system to inform subscribers when a company goes “woke.”
The new service was created by the Conservative Coalition (TCC) in an effort to keep the conservative base informed of which companies are displaying support for progressive or “woke” causes. The alerts will come via text message or email and will provide subscribers with updates and information about a company’s stance. This can help companies make decisions when it comes to where they spend their money and how they shop.
TCC executive director Shane Larson believes the “woke” corporate activity has gotten out of hand and it’s time for the conservative base to take a stand and be aware of which companies are supporting which causes. “The Left is using corporate America to push a social justice agenda and our members need to be informed about which companies are doing this so they know where to spend their money and which ones to avoid,” Larson said. “It’s time to take action and make sure our voices are heard.”
The alert system will notify subscribers when a company makes a “woke” statement, donates to a cause connected to progressive values, or significantly changes its purchasing or hiring practices. The alert system provides a quick and succinct breakdown of the information so that the subscriber can easily digest the facts and make an informed decision.
The Conservative Coalition is hoping that this new alert system will help the conservative base to stay informed and proactive. As Larson said, “We want to keep the conservative base informed and active as they stand up against companies that are embracing the ‘woke’ agenda. We believe this alert system will be a huge help in this effort.”
