Assassin’s Creed Codename Red release date, story, everything we know

Ubisoft is getting ready to launch another one of their much-anticipated Assassin’s Creed titles. This year’s game is called Assassin’s Creed Codename Red and it’s set to be released this November. According to Ubisoft, the game will explore a brand new story in the popular franchise.

The game is set to place in Europe, a place where the Assassin’s Creed series has rarely been before. Little is known yet, but Ubisoft has stated that the game will take place during the Cold War of the 1960s. Assassin’s Creed Codename Red will feature two main characters that gamers will control and set in a sandbox-style world reminiscent of the original Assassin’s Creed game.

In terms of story, Ubisoft has remained tight-lipped. We do know that the game will revolve around two assassins; one in East-Germany, and the other in West-Germany. Each character will also receive their own set of unique skills and abilities, along with various abilities to progress, such as stealth, parkour.

Gameplay-wise, Ubisoft has stated that Assassin’s Creed Codename Red will follow the same basic formula of open-ended exploration and assassination missions that the franchise is known for. Players will have plenty of other activities to do besides kill targets, including and heists, espionage, and other activities designed to keep gamers engaged.

In terms of graphics, Assassin’s Creed Codename Red looks to be on track to live up to its predecessors. The crisp visuals, detailed cities, and impressive environments lend a realistic touch to the overall atmosphere of the game.

The release date for Assassin’s Creed Codename Red has been set for November 19th, 2019. The game will be available for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. Players yet again have much to be excited about as Ubisoft looks to deliver a captivating and intense ride in their latest installment.
