Twitter will soon let you swipe between tweets, topics, and trends

Digital media giants are rapidly expanding their horizons as they continue to explore new and innovative ways to enhance user experience and increase user engagement. The latest offering comes from Twitter, who announced plans to roll out a new feature that will allow users to swipe through a variety of tweets, topics, and trends.

This new feature will be termed “Spaces” and will provide Twitter users with a completely new method of discovering new content and keeping up with their favourite topics. Instead of scrolling through various pages of tweets, the Spaces feature will allow users to quickly and easily view the latest topics and trends with a simple swipe.

The Spaces feature will also offer users the opportunity to filter their search by hashtags, locations, and keywords. This will allow users to personalize their Twitter experience and ensure that they are only seeing content that is relevant to their interests.

In addition to personalization, Spaces will also introduce an entirely new element of interactivity to the platform. As users swipe through topics, tweets, and trends, they will be able to comment on and review content, as well as discover related topics or people in a similar field.

This is not the first time that Twitter has provided its users with the opportunity to engage more with the platform. Last year, the company launched “Fleets”, which allow users to post stories and status updates for their followers to view for 24 hours.

As with all new features and changes to established platforms, Spaces will take some getting used to. However, with the combination of personalization, interaction, and discovery, it looks set to become one of the most popular features on the social media platform.
