Barnes & Noble is reinventing itself, but not its e-readers

In recent years, Barnes & Noble, one of the largest booksellers and e-bookstores in the country, has gone through a number of changes, including the closure of numerous brick-and-mortar stores. But despite this, the company hasn’t given up on its commitment to providing readers with access to various books. Instead, Barnes & Noble has been hard at work reinventing itself to offer new and better ways to shop and purchase books.

One of the ways Barnes & Noble has reinvented itself is through its revamped online bookstore and e-reader market. With its Nook e-reader device, Barnes & Noble offers customers a full selection of e-books and has partnered with a number of authors, publishers and even other retailers to give readers access to a huge range of titles. But the company isn’t just focusing on its e-readers. Its online bookstore was recently redesigned to include a better user interface, a more diverse range of titles and easier access to reviews and other digital content.

Though Barnes & Noble has been busy reinventing itself, it hasn’t done away with its traditional e-readers, such as the Nook Simple Touch or the Nook GlowLight. These devices are still an important part of the company’s product line, as they provide customers with an easy way to access their personal libraries and read in digital formats. In addition, Barnes & Noble offers new features for these customers, such as the ability to loan and share books and access free e-books through its library program and subscription services.

Overall, Barnes & Noble has definitely been taking steps to reinvent it’s operations. And while it may not be getting rid of its current e-readers, the company is trying to build on the success these products have achieved by providing customers with new and enhanced ways to access books and enjoy their reading experience. With its redesigned online store, subscription services and library partnerships, Barnes & Noble is ensuring that readers stay connected to the books they love.
