Barnes & Noble is reinventing itself, but not its e-readers

When Barnes & Noble entered the scene of digital e-readers they were incredibly successful, selling millions of their NOOK device during its peak. However, in recent times, the company has been phased out of the market due to increased competition from other players such as Amazon’s Kindle. In the face of this competitive market, many wondered if Barnes & Noble could survive at all and if the company would be able to reinvent itself in order to stay relevant.

While the physical outlets and e-commerce stores of Barnes & Noble still remain, it appears the company has managed to stay afloat by relying on its core strengths.
