Star Wars KOTOR remake – everything we know so far

As one of the most beloved RPG games of all time, it was only a matter of time before Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic (KOTOR) was given a remake. After much speculation, it was finally confirmed that KOTOR is indeed getting a remake, and fans of the game couldn’t be more excited.

However, many details about the remake are still under wraps. What we do know is that the game is being developed by Aspyr Media in collaboration with Lucasfilm Games. Not much else is known about the game yet, but we can safely assume it will be very similar to the original.

The KOTOR remake is likely to have improved graphics and be more visually stunning than the original game. Aspyr Media is also likely to include some interesting new features that weren’t found in the original game, such as more control over characters and improved dialog options. Players should also expect some sort of multiplayer mode, as these have become increasingly popular in recent years.

In terms of storyline, there have been no confirmations of any major changes to the original. We are likely to see the game focus on the same events which made KOTOR so popular: Revan’s journey around the galaxy, their encounters with the different species, and the battles against the Sith.

It is unlikely that the KOTOR remake will be released anytime soon, as the development team has been quite tight-lipped about details. However, if we take a look at the timeline for the original game, we can assume that the remake could come as early as late 2020 or early 2021.

Though the details are still a bit scarce, it is safe to say that KOTOR fans have plenty of good news to be excited about. We can expect some big changes and plenty of new features, while still maintaining the charm and classic storyline of the original. Until then, we can only speculate and hope that the game’s release date draws ever closer.
