The world of Scottish folk music just got a whole lot more interesting with the launch of Rhymer, a new collaborative project combining traditional ballads from Scotland with audio-visual elements exploring the fantasy realms of alien elves, and otherworldly creatures.
The unique project, created by Scottish artist Matthew North, combines the Scottish folk music tradition with the exploration of a hidden world populated by fantasy creatures and populated by alien elves. The project was made possible through the support of Creative Scotland, who selected North as the main artist for the project.
