Game enthusiasts everywhere are rejoicing today as an unprecedented announcement was made by Activision – Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 (MW3) will include all content previously released for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 (MW2).
Modern Warfare 3, the latest in the hugely successful Call of Duty franchise is due for release November 8th, but for the first time in the history of the franchise, all players of the previous installment will be able to take their content with them.
MW2 was released to an unprecedented level of success and acclaim, and the inclusion of all of this content into MW3 will see players accessing many of their favorite levels, weapons and modes from the 2nd installment. Everything from the beloved Throwing Knife to the classic Cliffhanger mission level will be available in MW3, allowing players to keep all their progress intact as they make the transition.
The inclusion of all the content from MW2 in MW3 is sure to add tremendously to the 3rd installment of the game. The game-play will be richer and more diverse, with more levels and weapons for the player to choose from.
In addition to this exciting announcement, Activision has also revealed that some of the MW2 maps will actually be improved and re-imagined in MW3, allowing players to experience them in an entirely new way.
The gaming world will no doubt be abuzz with this announcement and everyone is certainly eager to see what surprises Modern Warfare 3 will bring.
