Developed by Square Enix, the publisher of Final Fantasy VII and their various spin-offs, the upcoming mobile title promises to be an immersive adventure, with streamlined turn-based combat, an impressive cast of characters, and iconic Final Fantasy locations.

For those unfamiliar, Final Fantasy VII is a groundbreaking title that released in 1997 for the PlayStation. It tells the story of an eco-terrorist group fighting against a megacorporation for the fate of the world. With a complex plot and endearing characters, the game was a runaway success and has spawned multiple sequels, spin-offs, and remakes. After a successful version for the PC, iOS and Android, as well as Switch, it is now time for the full RPG experience to launch on mobile.

The new mobile version of Final Fantasy VII features a mix of elements from both the original game and its 2007 remake. Players will once again take control of protagonist Cloud Strife and his party of heroes, and join them on their journey to restore balance and peace to the world. You’ll also explore iconic Final Fantasy locations and battle a wide variety of creatures in a streamlined turn-based combat system.

This version of the game also allows for the use of microtransactions, though this will not be required to progress. This is merely an opt-in feature for those who are willing to pay.

With its release, this new version of Final Fantasy VII is sure to offer everything fans have come to expect. With a mix of classic RPG elements and modern mobile-friendly decisions, there’s never been a better time to take on the role of Cloud Strife and company. The next Final Fantasy VII mobile game launches next month, and RPG fans should get ready for the adventure of a lifetime.
