Tesla’s app now supports automation with Apple Shortcuts

Tesla recently announced new features in its Tesla App for iOS that integrate with Apple Shortcuts to provide automation capabilities. Tesla owners now have the capability to create and control numerous automations with just a few quick taps of their phone.

The integration with Apple Shortcuts allows users to create custom automations that will help them manage their Tesla car. These automations can be used for a variety of tasks such as remotely controlling the climate in the car, honking the horn, opening or closing the vehicle’s sunroof, unlocking the doors, or o. Opening the charge port for charging, without ever having to physically touch the Tesla itself. This integration allows users to conveniently manage the many aspects of the car from anywhere.

Using this integration, Tesla owners can create custom automations based on their preferences and needs. For example, one can set up an automation that will automatically start charging the car when the owner leaves their house. This automation can then be set to turn itself off when it reaches full charge. With this integration, automations can also be set to run based on geofencing, allowing users to create automations that work when they enter or leave a certain area.

The Tesla App for iOS users can now set it up to automatically control their car from their phone. This integration with Apple Shortcuts opens up many possibilities for users to customize their experience with their Tesla and make daily driving more convenient. This integration will be a great addition to the Tesla app, allowing users to make the most of their Tesla vehicles.
