The Steam Deck now supports game transfers from PCs

In recent news, the popular gaming app service, the Steam Deck, has announced the addition of a new feature to the app. Starting today, users will be able to transfer their games from compatible Windows PCs to their Steam Deck app.

This exciting update to the Steam Deck was added to make gaming on the go even easier. The Steam Deck allows users to access their Steam Library games and purchase games directly through their mobile device, giving gamers the freedom to play on-the-go. Now, with the ability to transfer games from an eligible PC directly to the Steam Deck app, gamers can have access to their entire gaming library without ever needing to be near a desktop.

The transfer process from a Windows PC to the Steam Deck app is relatively simple. First, users will need to open the Steam client on their eligible PC and go to the Settings panel. From here, users will select Transfer Games under the Account panel at the bottom of the window. After checking the box to allow transfers, users will be able to select the games they want to transfer to their Steam Deck app.

Once the games are transferred, users can access them on their mobile device at any time. The games will be downloaded directly to the user’s device, meaning they won’t have to be connected to the same network each time they want to play. All of their data will also be transferred, including game progress, levels, and achievements.

The Steam Deck update is a welcomed addition for gamers looking for the ultimate gaming experience on their mobile device. With the ability to transfer your games from your desktop PC, gamers can now access their favorite games wherever and whenever. The Steam Deck app has once again set the bar for mobile gaming with this new update.
